The Last Day in Sanibel

Our last day on Sanibel Island :( You always need more time. We made sure to get everything packed the night before so we could enjoy a few more things on the island after check out at 10 a.m. We ate breakfast at the Lighthouse Cafe, visited two shops, and stopped at the Sun Harvest Citrus market and production area.

Truly a GREAT breakfast :) ...had to wait 45 minutes though, it's a popular place.
Breakfast at Lighthouse Cafe was great. Even though we had to wait, we browsed the shops next door (you can hear over a speaker if your party's name is called) for any last minute buys.

This store has some really cute gifts and apparel!

LOVE. If I had my own kitchen I would've bought this :/

Adorable kitchen towel, with seahorses and blues.

I thought this was pretty neat.
If you're into Ihop, the Lighthouse Cafe will match the yummy goodness. The Belgian Waffles are my recommendation :) The interior is small, but the food is worth the wait. You can also enjoy looking at the MANY pictures of lighthouses from around the world that hang all over the walls.

Sun Harvest Citrus looked interesting from the time we passed over the causeway when we got to Sanibel, so we decided to check it out while leaving. Turns out the production line was not going when we visited which was kinda disappointing. But, they do have a wide variety of nautical beachy gifts (not just oranges), a free sample area, a market, postal service, and large windows that you can look out and see the production line.

I really liked this quote!

Explaining how and where the oranges come from.

The sample area! Orange juice was yummy :)

Neat candle idea!

Really liked this collectors plate.
And so we traveled a few thousand miles back to Texas and already miss the beach (that's usually how it works right? ha) and are looking forward to the next time we stay in Sanibel! Thanks to all the wonderful staff at Ocean's Reach for making our vacation great :)

This was so cool, mounted on the wall of our hotel, Country Inn & Suites in Citylake, FL.
